All Tuesday meetings begin at 7.30 pm in the Mayoralty Room of Tiverton Town Hall except where otherwise indicated. There is a lift available.
- 11th March: "Planning in Devon - change and challenge" - Geoff Sworder, Vice Chairman of C.P.R.E. Devon
- 15th April: "The language of violence in 18th century Exeter" - Richard Williams
- 13th May: "Tiverton Almshouse Trust - origins and fulfillment" - Tom Penny
- 10th June: "Memories of childhood - Tiverton in the 1930s" - Helen Harris
- June/July: Proposed summer visits - details to follow
- 29th July: Garden Party hosted by Gordon & Anne Davies at 15 Blundell's Avenue from 3.30pm
- 9th September: "Adult education - the role of the W.E.A. from past to present" - Frank Gent
- 14th October: (NB. This is at 2.30 pm)"The Severn Barrage" - James Wyeth
- 18th November: Annual General Meeting Followed by "The roads of Tiverton" - Oliver Nicholson
A special event in the Spring will be the launch of the Tiverton Merchants' Trail- details to follow.
Guests and visitors are most welcome to attend meetings. Coffee & biscuits conclude the evening. Donations for these are requested.
The first meeting of the new Committee will be held on Monday 21st January 2008 at 7.30 pm in the Age Concern Offices, Beck's Square
